Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: October 19, 2026

This page explains how to delete the data SocialMediaSchedular.com ("we", "us", "our") holds about you, including data we receive from social platforms when you connect an account (Facebook, Instagram, Google/YouTube, X, Pinterest and LinkedIn). It is the data-deletion instructions page for our platform developer apps.

1. Disconnect a social account (removes its token immediately)

Sign in to the app, open Integrations (or the connected account's settings) and choose Disconnect for the platform. Disconnecting deletes the stored access token for that account from our database and stops all scheduled publishing to it. You can also revoke our access at any time in the platform's own settings (for example Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites, or Google Account → Third-party access), which invalidates the token on the platform side as well.

2. Delete your account and all its data

Email support@socialmediaschedular.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We verify the request comes from the account holder, then delete your account, connected-account tokens, drafts, scheduled and published-post records, uploaded media and workspace data within 30 days, except where the law requires longer retention (for example tax or security records). We confirm by email when deletion is complete.

3. If you connected through Facebook or Instagram

If you removed SocialMediaSchedular from your Facebook or Instagram settings and want the data we received through that connection deleted, email support@socialmediaschedular.com with the subject "Facebook data deletion" and the name of the Page or account you connected. We delete the associated tokens and profile data (account name, username and profile image) and confirm by email when it is done.

4. What deletion covers

Data you published to a social platform using our tool (for example a post on your own Facebook Page) belongs to that platform account and is not deleted by deleting your SocialMediaSchedular account — delete it in the platform itself if you want it removed there too. How we collect and use data is described in our Privacy Policy.
