Terms of Service

Last updated: October 18, 2026

These Terms govern your use of SocialMediaSchedular.com and the SocialMediaSchedular application (the "Service"), operated as SocialMediaSchedular ("we", "us"). By using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service provides tools to plan, draft and schedule social media content, connect social accounts through official OAuth authorisation, and a hub of free in-browser writing tools (generators, counters and checkers). Features may change over time; we may add, modify or remove features and will try to give reasonable notice of material changes.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Authentication is provided through Firebase Authentication. You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) or have permission from a parent or guardian. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable use

4. Your content

You own the content you create and upload. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and transmit your content only as needed to operate the Service — for example, to publish a post you scheduled to the account you connected. We claim no ownership of your posts, captions, images or videos, and we do not use your private content to train models.

5. AI-generated and tool-generated content

Some features help draft text, and the free tools generate text from templates and rules. Generated content is a draft provided "as is": it may be inaccurate, generic, similar to output given to others, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing, editing and verifying anything you publish, including facts, claims, prices and compliance with advertising and platform rules. Nothing generated by the Service is professional, legal, medical or financial advice.

6. Connected platforms

Social platforms (including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X and LinkedIn) are third-party services with their own terms. Platform names are trademarks of their owners; the Service is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. If a platform changes its API, limits or policies, some features may stop working, and we are not responsible for a platform's decisions about your accounts or content.

7. Availability and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Scheduled posting depends on third-party platforms and networks; we do not guarantee that every scheduled post will publish at an exact time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or USD 50 if you paid nothing), and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost followers. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Payments

Free tools require no payment. If paid app plans are offered, prices, billing and refund terms will be shown before purchase and form part of these Terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violating these Terms or where required by law. Sections about content ownership, liability and governing law survive termination.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms; the current version will always be on this page with its date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms. Questions: support@socialmediaschedular.com.
